WBMS: January-October global tin market excess supply 3100 tons

Report of the World Bureau of Metal Statistics (WBMS) released on Wednesday showed that from January to October 2014, the global tin market excess supply 3100 tons.

Global refined tin production from January to October (not including LME metals reworked) representing an increase of 18,600 tons.

Global demand for refined tin in January-October was 30.8 million tons, an increase of 4.7% over last year.

October 2014, refined tin production was 29,900 tons, the demand for 29,100 tons.
