Myanmar imports of refined tin tin imports rise is still in the doldrums
Customs data show China October imports of tin ores and concentrates of 9985 tons, an increase of 29.13 percent, an increase of 132.48%. Among them, the October imports from Burma to 9577 tons, compared with 7638 tonnes in September when, an increase of about 25.38%. Total imports from January to October was 124,354 tons, an increase of 132.48% cumulative.
Contributing to import the status quo of two things:
One out into the tin production in Myanmar after the rainy season in October, production increased, exports are more naturally before a significant increase. The rainy season is still a relatively large impact on the production and import of tin Myanmar.
Second, since October tin ingots domestic spot price relative to the continuous decline in the outer disk appears to be more defensive, early substantial upside down tin prices appear to reverse the Board, and therefore more attractive to importers.
In addition, in October of this year 861 tons of refined tin imports, growth of 15.41%, an increase of 99.31%; from January to October this year, total imports of 6365 tons, down 45.51 percent cumulative. Although late September domestic exports arbitrage window has gradually closed, but imports still profitable for businesses, coupled with sluggish domestic demand this on oversupply, so imports are still low.
