Imports of refined tin tin production support steady growth

  National Bureau of Statistics data show that in August the domestic refined tin output 15,342 tons, a decline of 3.4%, an increase of 21.4%. January-August cumulative production of 116,000 tons, the cumulative increase of 15.8%. From the sub-regional production point of view, Yunnan, Hunan, Jiangxi, Guangxi and still produce a large area, including Yunnan 7889 tons, 4226 tons, Hunan, Guangxi, 1253 tons, 1674 tons of Jiangxi.

   Support the steady growth of refined tin production of raw materials, mainly from Myanmar imported ore. Domestic tin due to resource protection, integration and environmental protection, mining costs and other factors, basically stable in recent years, production is limited, therefore unable to support refined tin output growth. On the other hand, the main raw material regeneration tin scrap tin output also showed a decline in the state, mainly due to the electronics factory equipment upgrades, plus electronics factory production fell, reducing waste output. Refined tin production show significant growth this year, but reduce the amount of refined tin imports, coupled with a rebound in exports, and therefore does not increase the pressure of excess domestic supply.
